Logan Heights CDC welcomes the submissions of opinion articles on any topic related to the community of Logan Heights & the Historic Barrio District. The purpose of ‘Write the Block’ is to empower community members who live, work, and are passionate about their neighborhoods to write on issues and experiences they undergo in our community.
We ask for all submissions to be no longer than 750 words followed by a completed submission of information: name, community of residence, daytime phone number, & email. The form below is the best way to submit your Op-Ed article.
For an article to be considered for publishing on our website, we ask for it to be completed and not go against our community standards of conduct. We will do our best to read all submissions promptly and plan to contact you within one week if we are interested in publishing your article. For more information please email info@loganheightscdc.org with the Subject Line: Submit an Op-Ed.
What is an Op-Ed? Op-eds (or “opposite editorial”) are articles devoted to commentary, feature articles, and opinions. Authors are not officially affiliated with the newspaper and can range from local business owners to interested members of the community.
